There are a total of seven - two letter blends that include the letter r. They are br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, and tr. For practice, sound out and read the word bag. Then sound out and read the word rag. Then blend the br followed by the sound for ag. Sound out and read the word brag. Sound out and read more br words with short vowel patterns: bred, brim, brow, and brush.
